It’s hard to keep track of the number of ways the pandemic has affected businesses of any shape or size. There are the obvious ones like lockdowns, restrictions, staffing and supply chain issues. But what about companies that make clothing specifically for white collar workers, who no longer have to go to an office and need to wear a collared shirt? This week Joe chats with Ryan Kent, the president of Mizzen+Main a menswear brand that produces performance workwear, and it claims to make “the best damn dress shirt.”
About Ryan Kent:
Ryan joined Mizzen+Main in 2015 as the Chief Operations Officer and most recently stepped in as President in January 2021. He has a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy and Master’s in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. Ryan began his career in the US Army, serving over five years in active duty, including three deployments in support of the Global War on Terrorism. Upon leaving the military, Ryan spent time at Technicolor as an IT Project Manager before moving into an advisory consulting role with Ernst & Young prior to joining Mizzen.
