Dr. Michael Meyer is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with interests in robotic surgery, valve reconstruction, and heart failure. He served in the US Army for 24 years and led combat surgical teams during several deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He received his BS from the University of Miami, his MD from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, and his MBA from the University of Tennessee. Mike is also CEO of Rounds, Inc., a startup focused on helping people through their journey as a patient by way of communication, collaboration, and predictive analytics.
