Snacking became everyone’s favorite pastime during the lockdown, but how did snack companies handle their operations during the pandemic? This week Joe connects with Bill Deacon, the Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Standard Provisions – a Boston-based snack food company that specializes in stuff like artisanal soft pretzels.
About Bill Deacon:
Bill began his career at The Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, AZ where as Director of Restaurant Sales he sold and executed all group event private dining in the 5-Star, 5-Diamond hotel’s restaurants. He then opened the first Morton’s of Chicago in Phoenix as Sales and Catering Director, which immediately became the highest grossing and most profitable in the 50-unit national chain. He left Morton’s to launch his own 7-concept hospitality group in Scottsdale, Arizona, which he operated until the financial crisis in 2008. Other positions include launching a direct-to-consumer apparel brand, scaling a successful sports marketing agency, and creating and selling a television concept to History Channel.
