He’s also the co-author of “Thanks for the Feedback: The Science and Art of Receiving Feedback Well” and “Difficult Conversations: How to Discuss What Matters Most”.
About Douglas Stone:
Doug has taught negotiation and dispute resolution at Harvard Law School for over 25 years. His is a co-author of two New York Times bestsellers, Difficult Conversations (Penguin, 2000) and Thanks for the Feedback (Penguin, 2015). His writing has appeared in various journals, including the Harvard Business Review. In 1999, he appeared on Oprah.
A co-founder of Triad Consulting Group, Doug has consulted to a wide range of organizations, including Fidelity, Honda, HP, Merck, and Turner, and has lectured at Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Pixar. He has worked with journalists in South Africa, diplomats at the former Organization of African Unity, police and community leaders in Springfield, Massachusetts, and doctors at UN/AIDS and the World Health Organization. Doug has also partnered with the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center, the Nature Conservancy, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the US Departments of State and Justice, and the White House. Doug is a graduate of Brown University and Harvard Law School.
